Dr. Adam Smith was born March 17, 1922, in Greyburg, Texas. He departed this life on Monday, August 6, 2012.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Mount Gilead Baptist Church, 710 IH 10 East, Beaumont, TX, with entombment at Live Oak Memorial Park, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., at the church.
A Celebration of Life and Viewing will be on Friday, August 10, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Greater Little Zion C.O.G.I.C., 4296 Magnolia Avenue, Beaumont, TX.
He leaves to mourn his sons, Wesley J. Smith (Tonya) and Gerald L. Smith, Sr. (Patrice); daughters, Linda J. Greer, Beverly A. Martin (James), Donna J. Curry (Theodore), Carolyn L. Sterling (Paul, Sr.), and Jacqueline Y. Graham (Floyd); 25 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
