Alcee Gorrell, 95, of Beaumont, Texas, departed this life Monday, February 22, 2021.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Green Baptist Church with interment to follow at Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church.

Alcee's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Ruth E. Gorrell; sons Larry Gorrell (Jeanette), Phillip Gorrell (Mahilda), and Clarence Gorrell (Shirley); daughters, Mary Lou Hockless (Lawrence), Brenda Robinson, and Mary Gorrell; sisters, Elsie Mae Hoston, and Wilma Daniels; brothers, Willie Brown and Larry Brown (Judy); and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
