Alverta Langley Briggs, 89, of Beaumont, Texas departed this life on Sunday, June 27, 2021.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with interment to follow at Live Oak Memorial Park under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the church.

Alverta's love and memories will remain in the hearts of her husband, Hiblet Briggs, Jr. ; daughters, Debra Briggs and Felicia Mitchell (Marcell); four grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
