Benard Gants, 68, of Beaumont, Texas departed this life Tuesday, August 6, 2019.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Pleasant Green Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M. with interment to follow at Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the church.

Benard's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his loving wife Alvena Richard-Gants; sister, Betty A. Matthews of Beaumont, TX; nieces, Angela C. Thomas, Shontie M. Hancock , and Shemeika A. Matthews, all of Beaumont, TX; nephews, August Matthews(Angela)of Dallas, TX; great-nieces, Venezia L. Hancock, Tierra M. Matthews, both of Beaumont, TX; great- nephews, Christopher L. Frazier, Latrell D. Jack, both of Beaumont, TX, Isiah A. Matthews, of Dallas, TX, and Kerimiah Crockett(Kimberly and Children), all of South Carolina; brother-in-law, Wayne Matthews of Beaumont, TX; special friend/brother, Hardy Charles (Karla) of Beaumont, TX; a host of other relatives, and friends.
