Betty Jean Matthews, 74, of Beaumont, TX, departed this life on Saturday, March 23, 2013.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at House of Prayer Deliverance Church, 5225 Phelps Road, Beaumont, TX 77705, with entombment at Live Oak Memorial Park Mausoleum, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the church.
Betty's love and memories will remain in the hearts of her sons, Dwayne Matthews (Julia) and Lester Matthews, Jr. (Esther); daughters, Amber Brisco, Alicia Wilbourn, and Wynett Rideaux (Alex); sisters, Gertie Alexander, Virginia Riggs, and Vera Adkins; 15 grandchildren; one great grandchild; nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
