Betty Jean Smith Meredith , 92, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Greater Good Hope Baptist Church, with interment to follow at Live Oak Memorial Park, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Betty's love and memories will remain in the hearts of her son, James Meredith; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
