It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Edward Dennings, Sr., 77, on Thursday, July 9, 2026.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Calvary Mortuary Chapel with interment at Houston National Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary staff.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Saturday at the Chapel.

Charles's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his son, Charles E. Dennings, Jr.; daughters, Catina Bookman, Sanita Scott and Camryn Dennings; sisters, Marilyn Dennings, Emily Provost, Barbara Dennings, and Billie F. Dennings-Kirkendoll (Joseph); brother, Leonard R. Dennings; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
