Rev. Charles Riggs, Jr., 72, of Beaumont, TX, went from labor to reward on Thursday, February 14, 2019.

Funeral service will be held at East Mount Olive Baptist Church on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. and burial will take place at Houston National Cemetery.

His love and memories will forever be cherished by his wife of 36 years, Virginia P. Riggs; sons, Rev. Charles F. Riggs (Nicole), Eric K. Riggs (Rachel), Arnold Riggs; and son he raised, Tyson M. Darby (Stacy); daughters, Shelia Riggs, Angela Morgan (Kenneth), Shonna Radcliff (Michael), Loutricia Leaven, and Tammy T. Thierry; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; loved ones, and friends.
