Christopher "C-Lew" Lewis, 42, of Beaumont, Texas departed this life Friday, October 11, 2019.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M. with interment to follow at Live Oak Memorial Park under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the church.

Christopher Ramsey Lewis, affectionately known as C-Lew, was born on September 9, 1977, to Garry Dewayne Lewis and Gwen E. Jackson in Beaumont, Texas. Christopher was baptized at an early age at West Tabernacle Baptist Church. He was educated in the Beaumont Independent School District and was a graduate of the West Brook High School Class of 1995. After graduating high school, Christopher attended Week's Welding School in Nederland, Texas where he obtained a certificate as a combination welder. He worked many years as a construction worker. In his past time, he enjoyed watching sports and his favorite NFL team was the New England Patriots. Christopher enjoyed showcasing his barbeque skills while spending quality time with his family and friends.

Christopher was adored by many.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and uncle, Warren Joseph Jackson, Jr.

Christopher leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Gwen E. Jackson and Garry Dewayne Lewis (Elaine); daughter, Kiara Lewis; grandparents, Warren Jackson, Sr. and Mary Broussard Jackson; uncles, Gregory Paul Jackson (Brenda) and Benny Keith Lewis; great aunt, Mary Ann Charles (Sgt. Major Joseph Charles); stepsister, Jessica Daniels; a host of other relatives and friends.
