Claiborne "Lip" Joseph Gallien Sr., 70, of Beaumont, Texas departed this life on Friday, April 24, 2020.

A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Pm on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Calvary Mortuary Chapel with interment to follow on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Houston National Cemetery.

Claiborne's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his son, Claiborne Joseph Jr.; daughters, Kathy Gallien and Johelen Gallien Golden; sisters, Sedelia August, Betty Gallien Parker, Gwen Gallien, Rosalind Gallien, Cassandra Gallien, Karren Richardson, and Darlinda Wheeler; brothers, John Melvin Walker, Christopher W.
