A life so beautifully lived deserves to be remembered. Claudette Barber Kelly , 77, of Beaumont, Texas, departed this life on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at St. Paul AME Church at 11:00 AM, with interment at Live Oak Memorial Park, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Claudette's love and memories will remain in the hearts of her son, Charlie Kelly; daughter, Meatra Gilmore; sisters, Carl Jean Hawkins, Esther Marie Fontenot, and Lillian Faye Barber; brother, Charlie Barber (Ruby); 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
