Cleveland "Big Joe" Edward LaVergne, 77 , of Nome, Texas, moved on from this Earthly Life to his Heavenly Life on Saturday, March 4, 2023.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at First Missionary Baptist Church with interment to follow at Claybar Haven of Rest Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Church.

Cleveland's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Susie Ann LaVergne; sons, Randy Lee Evans (LaTequia), and Jamal Edward LaVergne; daughter, Linda Marie Reddix (Kelvin); brothers, Willie J. LaVergne, and Paul A. LaVergne (Karin); four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, and friends.
