Obituary

Cory Jules Cormier, Sr, 60, of Beaumont, TX departed from this life on Thursday, May 27, 2021. His services will be Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Calvary Mortuary, 1225 S 7th St Beaumont, TX 77701, at 11:15 AM. The viewing will be from 10:15 - 11:00 AM on Saturday.
Cory was born on March 8, 1961, in Jennings, Louisiana to parents Dolores Chevis Cormier and Jesse Cormier. He graduated from Jennings High School and went on to attend McNeese University. He married his first wife, Pamela Bellow in 1980, and they had one son, Cory, Jr. He later went on to marry Danita in 1991, and they had two children, Aja and Cody. They remained married until his passing.
He is survived by his wife, Danita; three kids: Cory (Nikia), Aja, and Cody; and two grandchildren, Avery and Kiase. He is also survived by his two sisters, Cynthia Barber (Cleve) and Sheryl Fontenot (Elbert), and one brother, Elisha Lewis (Dana), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, close friends, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolores and Jesse, and his sister, Linda Bush, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins
