Deacon Charles Ray Smith , 68, of Beaumont, Texas, departed this life on Thursday, June 3, 2021.

Funeral service will be held Friday, June 11, 2021, at 10:00 AM at West Tabernacle Baptist Church under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 11, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at the church.

Charles' love and memory will remain in the hearts of his wife Mary G. Smith; sons, Joseph Bernard (Kenysha) and Stephen Wells (Marisa); daughters, Minister Daphne Wilson (Joseph), Fayetta Guillory, and Matilda Tezeno (Jimmy); sisters, Sundra Smith and Karen Haynes (Christopher); brother, Danny Smith (Ethelrene); 27 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
