Deress Wooten, Sr., 86, of Beaumont, TX, departed this life on Tuesday, December 31, 2013.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, January 6, 2014, at St. Peter Baptist Church, 4615 So. 4th St. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the church.
His love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife of 67 years, Mary Silas-Wooten; sons, Larry Wooten, Sr., Deress Wooten, Jr. (Charlotte), Robert Wooten (April), Donald Ray Wooten, Sr. (Katherine); daughters, Marilyn Guillory, Sandra Gail Frank, and Cynthia Wooten; 29 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
