Doris Jenkins Booker, 75, of Beaumont, TX, departed this life on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX.
Doris was a native of Orange, TX and was an educator for 40 years.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, on Saturday, March 25, 2017, with burial at Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., at the chapel.
She is survived by her son, Dax Booker, Sr. (Tiffany); two grandsons, Traylon and Dax Booker, Jr. and granddaughter, Chelsea Booker of Houston, TX; sister, Anna Bell Hardin (Leroy) of Orange, TX, brother, Roy Jenkins of Chicago, IL; several nieces, nephews, the Booker family, former students, friends, and the Antioch Baptist Church - Wednesday Noon Day Bible Study Ministry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mattie Jenkins and a brother, Ermon Davis.
