Doris Michelle Provost, 46, of Orange, Texas, departed this life on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul CME Church with interment to follow at Hollywood Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary staff.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the Church.

Doris's love and memories will remain in the hearts of her daughter, Ja'Miya Provost; sons, Ja'Quarius Provost (Ruth), Joshua Provost, Jr., and Ja'Colven Provost; parents, Virgie Diana Melancon (Leroy, Sr.), and Greg Lassien; sisters, Selena Bias (Darryl), Savannah Taylor, Shanna Taylor, Destanie Melancon (Denny), Youlanda Bias-Wallace (Rodrick); brothers, Dameon L. Morris (Latricia), Johnny J. Morris (Andrea), and Leroy Melancon, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
