Dorothy Harris, 77, of Missouri City, Texas ,formerly of Beaumont, Texas departed this life on Monday, July 12, 2021.

Funeral service will be on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Calvary Mortuary Chapel with interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the chapel.

Dorothy's love and memories will remain in the hearts of her son, Matthew Harris, Jr. (Keela) of Missouri City, Texas; sisters, Willie Mae Young and Lawilder Hunter, both of Beaumont, Texas, and Lillie Valmore (Charles) of Dallas; brothers, Charles Grant, Sr. (Iris) of Houston, Texas and Calvin Grant (Brenda) of Atlanta, Georgia; eight grandchildren, Jovan Robertson of Beaumont, Texas, Kourtney Lane of Lovelady (Darren), Texas, Matthew Harris III and Marquise Harris, of Houston, Texas, and Octavia Harris, KeAndre' Harris, Korrel Harris, and Matthias Harris, all of Missouri City, Texas; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
