Ella Pete Briggs, of China, TX, departed this life on Sunday, February 28, 2016.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, on Saturday, March 5, 2016. Visitation will be at 9:00 A.M. and expressions to the family will take place at 10:00 A.M., at the church. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her daughter, Dorothy Mae Williams; sons, Lawrence Marshall, Sr. (Vicki), Lionel Briggs, Jr. (Camille), and Gary Briggs; sister, Mazie Lavergne; 21 grandchildren; a host of great & great great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
