Essie "Esther" Ruth Fontenot Butler Samuel Melonson , 92, of Beaumont, Texas departed this life Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

Funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Calvary Mortuary Chapel with interment to follow at Live Oak Memorial Park under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Calvary Mortuary Chapel

She was preceded in death by her son, Johnnie Ray Butler.

Essie's love and memories will forever remain in the hearts of her sons, Bruce Edward Butler, George "Butch" Butler, Jr., and Marsh Anglaus Samuel; daughters, Millie Denise West (Thomas), Myra Salina Haynes (Cornelius), and Arlana Ruth LeBlanc (Kevin); a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
