Francis Marcell Fontenot, 87, of Beaumont, Texas departed this life on Saturday, December 14, 2024.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at the Church.

The Rosary will begin at 9:15 A.M.

Francis's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his loving wife, Barbara A. Fontenot; daughters, Stephanie (Roderyck) Daniels, and Anastasia (Anthony) Wiltz; stepdaughters, Datrile Simmons, and Debra Edwards; stepson, Damion (Tameka) Green; brother, Freeman (Porsha) Fontenot; sisters, Rita (Leroy) Fontenot, Ada (Charles) Shoals, and Margorie Shipp; brothers-in-law, Michael Harris, Randy (Patricia) Harris, and Wayne (Stella) Harris; sisters-in-law, Julia Mae Fontenot, Earline Harris, Charlene Harris, and Angela Harris; grandchildren, Francesca, Demi, Daphnie, Derrick, RaShale, Toryn (Kiana), Dareonte, Donnie, Ar'Kel, Dalina, and Mykell; great-grandchildren, Gabby, Zoey, Kevin, Dantae III, Caden, Aiden, Arkel Jr, Lah'Veah, Nidia, She'Rica, Ya'Karie, Nova, and K'amira; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
