Frank
Jones
Aug 26, 1939 — Apr 22, 2026
Beaumont
Frank Jones, 86, of Beaumont, Texas, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Frank was born on August 26, 1939, in Lakeland, Louisiana, to the late Emanuel and Elsie Anderson Jones. He was raised in Maringouin, Louisiana, where he attended Thomas A. Levy High School. At the age of 17, Frank relocated to Beaumont, Texas, where he would build a life rooted in family, faith, and hard work.
In Beaumont, Frank met the love of his life, Carol Jean, and the two were married on August 6, 1960. They shared 47 years of marriage before her passing in 2008.
Frank was a hardworking and self‑motivated man. He began his career as a sandblaster at Livingston Shipyard and later discovered his passion for tree cutting. When the shipyard closed, Frank embraced entrepreneurship, turning his skills into a full‑time business. A self‑taught tradesman, he cut and groomed trees for over 30 years, earning respect throughout the community. His company motto, "Let the Sunshine In," reflected his practical skill and positive spirit. Frank retired in 2016.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and provider, Frank found joy in caring for his family. Frank also enjoyed hunting and cherished time spent with family and friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Carol Jean Jones; five sisters, Elizabeth Scott, Hazel Riley, Modesta Webb, Grace Winn, and Lucinda Wright; and four brothers, Joseph Jones, Rev. Earnest Jones, Rev. Emanuel Jones, and Calvin Jones, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Anita Suzette (James) Dixon of Beaumont, Texas, and Jacquelyn (Chris) Ford of Allen, Texas; one son, Marvin (Kim) Jones of Beaumont, Texas; one sister, Lillie Mae Tezeno of Beaumont, Texas; seven grandchildren, five great‑grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Frank Jones will be remembered for his strong work ethic, quiet wisdom, deep faith in God, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the values he passed down.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Maxson Memorial Church of God in Christ with interment to follow at Live Oak Memorial Park under the direction of Calvary Mortuary staff.
