Rev. Fred Leon Mitchell, Jr., 57, of Port Arthur, TX, went from labor to reward on Monday, October 8, 2012.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church of Beaumont, 2830 Pine St., with interment at Magnolia Cemetery, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff. A wake service will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on Friday, October 12, 2012, at Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church of Beaumont.
Fred was preceded in death by his mother, Julia M. Benoit Mitchell.
His love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Harriet Mitchell; father, Fred L. Mitchell, Sr.; sister, Eleanor B. Mitchell; brothers, Carl D. Mitchell and Rev. Dwight Benoit (Gayla S. Benoit); step-daughter, Shelica Hill; other family members, loved ones, and friends.
