Genevia Chavis Roberts, 93, of Beaumont, Texas, departed this life on Monday, September 8, 2025.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church with interment to follow at Pear Orchard Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary staff.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at the Church.

Rosary will begin at 9:15 a.m.

Genevia's love and memories will remain in the hearts of her daughters, Janice Roberts Solomon (Roy), Margaret Grantham (Jeff), Jeanette Roberts Arvie, and Mary Roberts; sons, Felton Roberts (Iris), Chester Roberts (Mary), Raymond Roberts, and David Roberts; sisters, Aneva Edwards, and Mary Ann Hall; brother, Paul Chavis; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
