"An Angel"
Genevieve M. Broussard Chevis, 73, of Beaumont, TX, departed this life on Thursday, September 4, 2014.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Park under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the church. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Nolan Broussard.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of sons, Gurvis Chevis III (Andrenette), Nelson Chevis (DeLoris), Ronald Chevis, Gary Chevis (Alicia), and Robert Chevis (Vanscheca); daughter, Ilena Broussard Cleveland (Demetrick); brothers, Norman Broussard and Rudy Broussard; father of her children, Gurvis Chevis II; 18 grandchildren (one on the way); two great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
