Gerald Joseph Richard, Sr., 77, of Orange, Texas, departed this life on Friday, January 5, 2024.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Therese Catholic Church with interment to follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens & Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Friday at the Church.

The Rosary will begin at 9:30 A.M.

Gerald's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Virginia E. Guidry-Richard; daughter, Tina M. Richard-Kindle (Reggie); sons, Sammie P. Richard (Lillie Joe), Clifford J. Richard (Ruby Jean), Clifton J. Richard (Felicia), and Gerald J. Richard, Jr. (Dorothy); sister, Mary Spears; brothers, John J. Richard, Sr., Edward P. Richard, and Herman L. Richard (Mona); 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
