Gloria Cassandra Forward, 68, of Orange, Texas departed this life on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Calvary Mortuary Chapel from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

A private service will be held for family only.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Betty Antione, and Willa Dean Harvey; and brother, Floyd Anderson.

Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her sons, E. L. Nickerson, Jr., Robert Nickerson, and Larry Nickerson; daughters, Cheldra Thomas, and AyJohnee' Guillory; sisters, Dora Ronald (Lonnie), and Virginia Sigur (Andrew); brothers, George Adams, Dr. Jackie Mayfield (Carolyn), Gregory Anderson, Sr. (Angela), Pastor Larry Anderson (Caroline), and Silas Anderson, Jr. (Carolyn); 14 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
