Gloria "Blackie" Wheeler Pickens, 87, of Beaumont, Texas, departed this life on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church with interment to follow at Live Oak Memorial Park under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at the Church.

The Rosary will begin at 9:15 A.M.

Gloria's love and memories will remain in the hearts of her daughters, Shelia Patterson-Samuel (Willette), Stephanie Caleb, and Anquinetta Lee (Stacey); son, Keith Pickens (Lisa); sisters, Elizabeth Wiley, Mary Young, Rita Liles, Mary English, and Shirley Broussard; brother, Abraham Wheeler; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
