Gregory James Hunter, 74, of Pearland, Texas, departed this life on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Impact Church of Houston with interment at Houston National Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary staff.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the Church.

Gregory's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Mary C. Hunter; daughters, April Malone (Dennis), and Ebony Matthews (Raymond); mother, Azzie L. Hunter; sisters, Vanessa Walker (David), and Jessica Young (James); brother, Roy Hunter; grandchildren, Camryn, Emory, Rylan, Essence, and Ay'Lee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
