Herbert J. Kennedy, 55, of Katy, Texas, departed this life on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Borden Chapel Baptist Church under the direction of Calvary Mortuary staff.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the Church.

Herbert's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Tara Kennedy; daughter, Herterrica Green (Avary); son, Myzaiah Kennedy; sisters, Tonya Kennedy, Janice Dumas, and Alecia Deblanc; brothers, Paul Kennedy, III, Harry Bass, Grant Bass, Robert Bass, and Randy Bass (Rosemary); grandchildren, A'Mar Francis, Armani Hebert, Avary "AJ" Green, and A'Niyah Green; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
