Herbert "Shorty" Smith, Jr., 67, of Beaumont, Texas departed this life on Thursday, May 6, 2020.

Funeral will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Calvary Mortuary Chapel with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday at the chapel.

Herbert's love and memories remains in the hearts of his sons, Demarcus Smith Sr. and Herbert "Puncho" Smith III; daughters, Rose Ann Bennett, Monica Smith Bellard, Demetra Smith, Kimiko Mire, and Joye Wykoff; sister, Mary Ellen Smith; 14 grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; host of other relatives and friends.
