It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of India Denese Sonnier, 53, of Beaumont, Texas, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Calvary Mortuary staff.

Omega Omega service, honoring India's life and legacy, will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. Saturday at the Church.

Visitation will be held from 9:45 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the Church.

India's love and memories will remain in the hearts of her husband, Christopher J. Sonnier; daughter, Epiphany Ware; sons, Christian Sonnier, and Caleb Sonnier; parents, Richard Routt (Maicel), and Beatrice Preater (Douglas); brother, Joseph Routt; sister, Leslie Leday (Lester); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
