Irby Joseph Thibodeaux, Sr., 94, of Beaumont, Texas, departed this life on Monday, July 7, 2025.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary staff.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Friday at the Church.

Rosary will begin at 9:15 A.M.

Irby is preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Frances A. Wickliff-Thibodeaux, his parents, and daughter, Vita Thibodeaux.

Irby's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his sons, Irby J. Thibodeaux, Jr., Clayton Thibodeaux (Janie), and Michael Thibodeaux (Cynthia); sisters, Margaret Mouton, Mary Dean Hall, and Gloria Zenn; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
