Irene Whitaker, 88, of Beaumont, Texas departed this life Tuesday, August 20, 2019.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church at 10:00 A.M. with entombment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at the church.

Irene's love and memories will remain in the hearts of her sons, Monroe Knighton(Patricia), Russell Knighton(Laverne), and Jeffery Knighton; daughters, Deborah Smith and Mary Howard; sisters, JoEllen Wilridge, Helen Nichols, Shelly Cunningham, Constance Jackson, and Jessie Shankle; brother, Jeffery Norris(Linda); 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a host of other relatives, and friends.
