James Retell Charlton, affectionately known as "Ross", 74, of Beaumont, Texas departed this life on Friday, January 24, 2025.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Pius Catholic Church with interment to follow at Live Oak Memorial Park under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at the Church.

The Rosary will begin at 9:30 A.M.

James will be remembered in the hearts of his sisters, Mary Breaux (Manuel Jr.) of Beaumont, Texas, Linda Shaw of Houston, Texas, Rosemary Thomas (Stanley) of Fort Worth, Texas, Barbara Shaw (Richard Watson) of Beaumont, Texas, Brenda Hope (Russell) of Arlington, Texas; brothers, Charles Ross, Jr. (Mary) of Houston, Texas, Bob Shaw, Jr. of Beaumont, Texas, Raymond Shaw of Beaumont, Texas, Johnny Shaw (Linda) of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Wilson Guillory Jr. of Beaumont, Texas, Earnest Guillory of Beaumont, Texas, Michael Shilo (Terri) of Beaumont, Texas, and Roland Shaw (Melodie) of Grand Prairie, Texas; Godchild, Barbara Shaw; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
