We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jim Rideaux, Jr., 72, of Beaumont, Texas, who departed this life on Thursday, May 14, 2026.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Paradise Baptist Church with interment to follow at Live Oak Memorial Park under the direction of Calvary Mortuary staff.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at the Church.

Jim's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Shaunte Rideaux; daughters, Veronica Gromada, Branda Rideau, and Tamara Rideaux; bonus children; Michael Guillory, Jr. (Christalon), and Jasmine Griffin (Jarad); sisters, Martha Lafleur, Rose Nabors, Carolyn Rideau, and Claudette Nicks; brothers, Cleveland Earl Rideau, and Michael Rideaux; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
