Joe Cooper, Sr., 83, of Beaumont, TX, went from labor to reward, on Sunday, February 23, 2014.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Borden Chapel Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the church.
His love and memories will remain in the hearts of his sons, Joe Cooper, Jr. (Karen), Roy Lee Cooper, Earl Cooper (Demitra) and Johnny Cooper; daughters, Shirley Ann Bennett (Chris), Sharon Brown (Paul), and Gloria Bluitt; sisters, Betty Lee, Virginia Green, and Wyoming Newman; brothers, Taft Robert, Jr., George M. Robert, O'Neil Robert (Yolanda) and William E. Robert (Linda); 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
