Joey Eugene Byerly, Sr., 41, of Beaumont, Texas, departed this life on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church with interment to follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens & Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary staff.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the Church.

Joey's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his son, Joey E. Byerly, Jr.; mother, Gloria J. Byerly; brothers, Derrick Johnson (LaShawn), and Eric Williams; sisters, Atiya Grant (Marcus), Stacy Williams (Dorsey), and Marian Arline-Perkins (Charles); fiancée, Meltasha Moore; bonus daughters, Anaya Jacobs, and Khaylie Gipson; bonus grandson, Kycen Thomas; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates, other relatives, and many dear friends.
