Rev. John Roy Vaughn , 79, of Beaumont, Texas, departed this life Wednesday, February 17, 2021.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021, at 11:00 AM, at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Port Arthur, Texas with interment on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 12:30 at Houston National Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday at the church.

A viewing will be held Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Calvary Mortuary Chapel.

A wake will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.

John's love and memory will remain in the hearts and minds of his wife Laura Ruth Vaughn; sons, David Vaughn, Christopher Vaughn (Ziporah), and Guy Vaughn; 13 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, other family, and friends.
