John Henry Whitfield, Sr., 77, of Beaumont, TX, departed this life on Wednesday, July 20, 2016.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, at Calvary Mortuary Chapel, on Saturday, July 30, 2016. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at the chapel. Burial will follow at Black Cemetery, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.
His love and memories will remain in the hearts of his children, Jessie Whitfield, LaDawn Whitfield, John Whitfield, Jr., Shulinda Whitfield, Shurinda Whitfield, Stephanie Johnson, Steven Wyckoff, Belessie Wyckoff, and Cheryl Dempsey; siblings, James Whitfield, O'dell Whitfield, Raymond Whitfield, Jean Vallerie (Kelly), Bessie Monroe, Bertha Austin, Essie Whitfield, Lemmie Whitfield, and Minnie Allen; 22 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loved ones.
