With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jonathan "Johnny Mo" Moore, Sr. , aged 76, of Beaumont, Texas. Surrounded by loved ones, Jonathan passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2026. The family deeply appreciates your thoughts, prayers, and support during this difficult time.

A celebration of Jonathan's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with arrangements entrusted to the compassionate care of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, offering an opportunity to share memories and offer condolences.

Jonathan's legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of his devoted wife of 42 years, Linda G. Moore; his beloved sons, Jonathan L. Moore, Jr. and Joseph M. Moore; his cherished daughter, Janisha L. Black (Joseph); his loving sisters, Katherine Toliver, Linda Faye Swain, Sylvia Moore, and Beverly Trainer; his six adored grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and dear friends whose lives he touched.
