Josephine Chavis Scott, 82, of Beaumont, TX, departed this life on Wednesday, June 28, 2017.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M., at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, on Friday, July 7, 2017, with a Rosary recited at 11:15 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 Noon with burial at Live Oak Memorial Park, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.
Her love will remain in the heart of her sons, Eddie Roy Williams, Michael Williams, Samuel Williams (Andrea), Tommie Williams, Jr. (Sher), and Walter Williams; daughters, Rebecca Broussard, Shirley Williams, Peggy Johnson (Thomas Jr.), and Stephanie Jackson; sisters, Geneva Roberts, Jenny Mae David, Mary Ann Hall, and Aneva Edwards; brothers, Paul Chavis, Walter Chavis, and Elroy Chavis; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
