Josephine Bell Smith entered the enteral rest peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the age of 82.

Josephine was born on November 15, 1942, in Lafayette Louisiana, to Henry Bell Sr., and Alberta Miller.

She was a loving mother and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and eight sisters.

Josephine leaves to cherish her memories, son, Carl Bell of Beaumont, TX; daughter, Evelyn Williams of Beaumont, TX; brothers, Robert Bell of Beaumont, TX, and Michael Bell of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Eric Bell, Ashia Carter, Lyric Isadore all of Beaumont TX, and Bridget Wise-Jones of Houston, TX; great-grandchildren, Ayannah Williams, Kendrick Williams, Leah Lawrence, Liala Lawrence all of Beaumont TX, Tykaria Bell, Tyshanity Holland, and Derrick Jones Jr., all of Houston, TX;  great-great-grandchildren, K'Rell Minick, Kyleigh Holdman, and Kaitlynn Collins all of Houston, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
