Katherine Woods Sylvester, 84, of Beaumont, TX, departed this life on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., at Lacy Temple Cathedral, 4090 Pine St, Bmt, TX, on Saturday, April 2, 2016. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., at the church. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her sons, Floyd Sylvester, Jr. (Brenda) of Houston, TX, Richard Sylvester (Shelly) of Baytown, TX, Jerry Sylvester (Monica) of Bmt, TX, and Lonnie Sylvester (Cathy) of Baytown, TX; daughters, Doretha Sterling (Charles) of Bmt, TX, Wanda Johnson (Raymond) of Humble, TX, Marva Holmes (Pastor Armstead) of Bmt, TX, Carmen Banks (Leonard) of Bmt, TX, Katherine Mitchell (Moses) of Bmt, TX, and Cynthia Tatmon (Melvin) of Spring, TX; 39 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
