Rev. Leon Dennis, Jr. , 71, of Beaumont, Texas departed this life on Sunday, April 9, 2023.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Morning Star Baptist Church under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Friday at the Church.

A Wake will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Morning Star Baptist Church.

Leon's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Carol A. Dennis; sons, Sean Johnson, and Derrick Dennis (Dometri); daughters, Tammy L. Dennis-Jones, and Kimberly D. Dennis; sister, Hattie Jackson (Melvin); nine grandchildren; 19 greatgrandchildren; five Godchildren; best friend, Tommy Ray Minix; and a host of other relatives, and friends.
