Leona Shynette Schexnayder, 91, of Beaumont, TX, departed this life on Wednesday, April 23, 2014.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Greater Good Hope Baptist Church. Interment will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at the church.

Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her son, Earl Schexnayder; daughters, Betty Lastice, Brenda Schexnayder, Lydia Odom (Jerry), Marion Thomas, and Janet Schexnayder; sisters, Frances Lawrence, Lizzie Shynette, and Orelia Wright; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
