It is with profound sadness that we share the loss of Lola Smith Taylor , 88, of Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026.

A celebration of Lola's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at New Birth Assembly of God. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, with arrangements entrusted to the compassionate care of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, offering an opportunity to share memories and offer condolences.

Lola's love and memories will remain in the hearts of her daughter, Yolanda Long; her sister, Naomi Serf (Gilbert); and her grandchildren, Brittany Taylor and Britton Jamaal Washington; and a host of extended family members and dear friends whose lives she touched.
