Matthews Turner, 89, of Beaumont, Texas departed this life on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Saturday at the Church.

The Rosary will begin at 11:30 A.M.

Matthews's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Esther R. Turner; children, John Turner, Joseph Turner (Sharhonda), Matthews Turner, Jamal Turner, Lorenda Potter, Wanda Turner, Clemon Taylor, Deborah Eaglin (Roland), Byron Morgan (Crystal), Jeffery Morgan (Gwendolyn), and Shaun Egins; sister, Lou Agnes Battles; brothers, Wallace Turner, Abraham Turner, and Arthur Dudley; and a host of grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
