Mechelle Lorraine Lewis, 60, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Beaumont, Texas departed this life on Sunday, August 4, 2024.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at New Day Deliverance Holiness Church under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the Church.

Mechelle's love and memories will remain in the hearts of her children, Dante Lewis, Destini Lewis, James Reed III, and Michelle Reed II; bonus daughters, Lakeshia Deal, and Tonya Reed; siblings, Meritta Simmons (Joseph), Marie Brooks (Paul), Wallace Lewis, Ellen Flemings (Malcolm), Kimberly Moore, and Leeland McElroy; 12 grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
