Mekeda Lacole Mitchell, "Nellie Mae", 30, of Orange, TX, departed this life on Monday, February 4, 2019.

Funeral service will be held at El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon with burial at Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff.

Her love will remain in the heart of her mother, Cheryl Mitchell; Dereck Edwards who was like a father; sister, Miosiha Scott (Lucas); brother, Colby D. Mitchell; nephew, Lan'Deyn Scott; Godchild, Jeremicia Thomas; father, Wilbert Kirklin; other relatives, and friends.
